Materials Systems for Sustainability

The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering is at the forefront of engineering and science related to materials systems, addressing challenges and technological issues that have a major impact on humanity and quality of life. We offer:

  • 20+ lab groups at UChicago PME engaged in materials, energy, and sustainability research
  • Two DOE Energy Frontier Research Centers and an NSF Regional Innovation Engine, among other initiatives
  • A close partnership with Argonne National Laboratory and its Center for Molecular Engineering

We are training students to become the next generation of leaders in science, engineering, and beyond.
